It’s time to let you in on a secret. Over the summer, we’ve been working on an exciting addition to the SWIS Suite and it’s ready to go live.
Starting August 16, you will be able to manage your school’s SWIS Suite users directly within your account!
We know your time is valuable. With this feature, we’re giving you the functionality you asked for to make your work more efficient and to keep your student data more secure. It’s called User Management and inside, you’ll find everything you need to add new users, edit existing users, and remove the users who have moved on from your school. The best part is: Every SWIS Suite account comes with User Management automatically. No hoops to jump through. No extra fees.
Here’s how it works:
In the past, only SWIS Suite facilitators had the ability to manage users. With this release, we’re extending that ability to SWIS Suite admin users, too. You get to maintain your relationship with your school’s facilitator while adding another person from the team who can manage users when you need it.
A New Training
We’re introducing an online training module specifically designed to get new users up to speed with their role. The Swift at SWIS training walks each user through the parts of SWIS they will use the most and gives them space to practice before diving into a live account. The training is absolutely free and self-guided so you can take it at a time that works with your schedule. Every user at every school can bookmark this training and come back to it again and again for a quick refresher. We started with SWIS users for now, but keep checking our website because role-based trainings for CICO-SWIS and I-SWIS users are coming soon!
The beginning of the year is a great time to review your user lists and make any changes to who has access to what in your SWIS Suite accounts. On August 16, your SWIS Suite facilitators and admin users can make those changes directly in your school’s account.
